Di is one of those people who could never NOT look put together (she will protest, but don’t listen). She makes everything look chic.

So I loved getting the inside scoop from her on some of her favorite items that she reaches for again and again in her closet (and I’m PUMPED to finally have the source of the awesome bracelet she always wears). I especially loved that her choices don’t break the bank.

Here is what Di has to say…

On simplifying:

I like to choose dresses for work since it simplifies decision making (Amen). Not much of a need to coordinate tops and bottoms – 1 piece and you’re covered. I work in the corporate world but office attire leans more on the casual side of business casual.

On versatility: 

I had been eyeing this dress for quite some time on my daily visit to shopbop.com. I finally pulled the trigger on it and I am ever so glad I did! It’s become such a staple in my closet these days – for work and weekends. Talk about versatility!

I like to pair with a fun statement necklace for work with booties, but pumps would also work if your office is more formal.

On each of her picks:

Dress: Runs big, so order 1 size smaller than normal (side note, I ordered this dress and it is adorable, but sadly there was too much extra room in the chest area, if you catch my drift).

Jacket: Similar to the Vince scuba jacket for a fraction of the price. Another staple item that can go with EVERYTHING. Cool color too.

Pumps: Color, color, color.

Booties: Can be worn so many different ways. Unexpected with the dress but love the contrast. (I own these in black suede, and can attest to their awesomeness!)

Necklace: Similar to a Jcrew spike necklace that I wear a lot.

Bracelet: I wear this layered with my watch and all other bracelets (I can also confirm, it is amazing. I have one ordered and on it’s way).

Watch: Gift from hubby. Navy is so pretty in person.
